Structures: ( Cấu trúc) 1. Adverbs of process: Trạng từ chỉ tiến trình sự việc. First/ Next/ Then/ After that/Finally First/ Next/ Then/ After that/Finally, + V(inf)..... 2. The passive forms with present simple tense Active S V O Passive S + be + V_pp ( by O ) =>S + am / is / are + past participle *It is used when the subject is affected by the action of the verb . Ex:I read some books every day ->Some books are read every day 3. Passive Form in the Future Simple. S + vill/ shall + V + O.......... ->S + will / shall + be + Vpp...... Ex: I will meet Nam tonight -> Nam will be met tonight 4. Adjectives followed by an infinitive / a noun clause It + be + adjective + to V(inf) Example : It is very difficult to speak English well 5. Adjectives followed by a noun clause
2. * S + be + adj + that / noun clause Example : We are delighted that you passed the English exam . 6. Requests. (Đề nghị) a. Would you mind +V-ing.................? Would you mind sitting in the front seat of the taxi? b. Would you mind if I + V-ed/cot2...................? Would you mind if I took a photo? -> No problem/ Nat at all 7. V-ing participle.( Hiện tại phân từ) S+V +O +V-ing.......... I can see a boy riding a water buffalo Exercises: I. Use the given words to write into the complete sentences (on page 940). 1.
